Join the volunteer revolution

More and more businesses are understanding the value of including optional ‘volunteer’ days in employee contracts.

Taking part in local projects doesn’t just benefit communities, it is consistently proved to help staff team-building, boost individual employees’ happiness and wellbeing, and improve staff retention.

We are producing A Guide to Corporate Volunteering to be launched in autumn 2025.

At the same time Shaping The Future member Royal Voluntary Service, with funding from the People’s Postcode Lottery, is developing a free platform to help employees find volunteering opportunities. All charities will be able to post volunteering opportunities entirely free of charge.
