Micro & one-off volunteering

A grpoup of volunteers doing one-off volunteering by litter picking in the countryside

All volunteers make a difference, however much or little time they are able to give

While some people can offer their availability for many hours on a regular basis, others might for many reasons prefer to make one-off commitments – yet all these contributions add up to become hugely valuable.

Every single minute given, even performing the smallest action, helps. For this reason we have set up a working group to explore how best charities can work individually and collectively to encourage and maximise the role of these valuable and vital ‘one-off’ volunteers.
